Dutch lessons in London

Hi, my name is Fenneke Dohmen. I was born in Utrecht in the Netherlands and I am a native Dutch-speaker and a fluent English-speaker.

Personal Dutch tuition

I offer 1-1 Dutch lessons in London. I can visit your home or workplace or you can meet at my place in Hackney. I am available during the day, evenings and weekends.

I can teach on various levels: beginner, intermediate or advanced. I adapt my teaching style to suit my students. I want to make sure that my teaching is as effective as possible by tailoring it to the way you learn.

How I teach Dutch

My objective is to make learning Dutch fun and unstressful. I am a trained actress and this helps me to develop pronunciation in a lively and easy-to-follow way.

I use different methods and materials, including traditional text books, CDs and DVDs, even comic books and nursery rhymes. I also make my own exercises, worksheets and homework assignments. I can help with translations to or from Dutch.

My students

My students include business people, housewives, toddlers and children. Many of my students have Dutch relatives or friends. Others want to move to Holland to start a business or take up a new job.
